The Centennial Marsh is the best place in Idaho and perhaps the entire northwest to view fields of camas lilies. In a good year it presents itself as a sea of blue as far as the eye can see. Even if the lilies don't put on their best show, there is so much to do in this area. We'll visit the Little City of Rocks one morning, photograph barns and old houses, a quaint old schoolhouse, and a rickety old sheep bridge that is still used by shepherds and their flocks. After two nights in Fairfield we'll move base camp to Bellevue at the southern end of the Wood River Valley for more photo opportunities including winding rivers, the potential for wildflower meadows, and the towering Boulder Mountains.
